A Photo Review of our June Meeting, Finally!

So yes, it has been a while since our June meeting, but still, we continued our year of handwork with a program by Pam on hand quilting.
Quilting by hand.
Members made progress on the Choo Choo patchwork that we hand pieced in May.
Hand quilting the Choo Choo mug rug or name tag.
Then on to some Show and Tell...

First, Cristy and her cousin Jane made 2 t-shirt quilts for kids at Camp Sunshine, plus one quilt for the male race director for the annual fund raising 5K race.

This quilt was made for the man who had been the race director for the annual 5K race for the past 14 years.  Veronica did the lovely quilting.

Stacy showed us the Row By Row quilt pattern for her shop, Pins and Needles.

Delores has finished her Poor Man's Stack and Whack that she started after our February meeting - a lovely blue and white wall hanging!

Janet has a very cool modern kaleidoscope top finished.

Janet also made one of the slices of the river quilt that will be hanging at the Tennessee Aquarium during the AQS Show in September.

Stacy has made this star quilt for her shop.

Melody has several small art quilts she has made - only a few will she hold still long enough to photograph!  Love those colors!

And Martha shows two of her modern inspired wonky log cabin quilt - very fun quilts!

It was a great meeting with lots of inspiration for us to see.  Don't miss our next meeting for more great quilts from our talented members!
