We had 11 members attend the workshop and ended up with 28 completed (or nearly) quilt tops for the Children's Home Chambliss
Center. What fun it was!
Veronica's blog post on FiberAnticsbyVeronica.com tells all about it and has more pictures.

Cuddle Quilt workshop set for August 18
The Choo Choo Quilters annual Cuddle Quilt workshop will take place on August 18 at the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 3204 Hixon Pike, from 9 am to 3 pm. Bring your sewing machine, basic quilting supplies, and any completed or partially completed cuddle quilts or blocks. Last year we got 27 cuddle quilts basted and ready for quilting in about 5 hours!
Surprise activity planned
In addition, you are invited to bring approximately two yards of fabric (or eight fat quarters) cut into 2.5" x 22" strips for a surprise and fun activity that will be revealed at the workshop.
Batting and backing fabrics will be on hand and refreshments will be provided. Bring a sack lunch or we can order out.
