A look back in history gives us many wonderful quilt blocks and the stories surrounding them. At the
April 16 meeting of the
Choo Choo Quilters, we'll take a closer look at the
Delectable Mountains block and show you how to use modern tools to make the assembly of this traditional quilt block a snap.

If you would like to make a "paper" sample block to learn the assembly process of the Delectable Mountains block, bring the following supplies to the meeting:
- Paper scissors
- glue stick or transparent tape (Scotch tape)
This program will also support the guild's Cuddle Quilt project. Pre-cut fabrics will be available for piecing Delectable Mountains blocks for this year's Cuddle Quilts.
